„At the moment, the consultations are not at a stage where there is a direct solution. The talks are continuing and the president, after listening to everyone, will make his decision. This was stated by the deputy governor of the BNB, Petar Chobanov, after the conversation with Rumen Radev on Friday. Chobanov is one of the possible caretaker prime ministers.
„You know that I have always, in every situation, acted responsibly from the point of view of the public interest. At the moment, what I do as deputy governor of the BNB is also very important. You heard what the manager said to you yesterday. I think that both for the Eurozone and for economic development, the BNB team should continue to act and move forward. From now on, of course, each of us must comply with the final decision of the president, Chobanov told journalists.
"The conversation with the president was meaningful and useful. I believe that he will find a solution in this situation," Chobanov added.
