The cabinet "Glavchev" will take the oath at an extraordinary session of the National Assembly, BNT reported. This will be the 10th official government in our country, but after the changes in the Constitution - the first that will be sworn in before the parliament, and not before the president.
Prior to that, the head of state Rumen Radev is expected to sign three decrees - to appoint the interim government and to schedule the extraordinary parliamentary elections and those for the European Parliament. The two votes will be on the same date - June 9.
Today it will also become clear whether Dimitar Glavchev has made changes to the draft composition of the official cabinet. As before, there will be one deputy prime minister in it, and it is suggested that this be the finance minister. There are 19 ministers in total. Kalin Stoyanov's remaining as Minister of Internal Affairs became a cause of tension as the PP-DB called on Glavchev to withdraw his candidacy.
There were also objections against the candidate for Minister of e-Government Valentin Mundrov and against the Minister of Justice Maria Pavlova.
After being sworn in, the new caretaker government, which is the 7th in the last three years, will go to the Council of Ministers building. There, the government of Nikolay Denkov will officially hand over power to the caretaker prime minister and his ministers. BNT will broadcast live the swearing in of the new government and the change of power in the Council of Ministers.
