The Supreme Judicial Council and the Supreme Prosecutor's Council are meeting in a general meeting, NOVA reported.
It is expected that the request of the former Minister of Justice Atanas Slavov to consider allegations that the former Chief Secretary of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Zhivko Kotsev, was pressured by the acting Chief Prosecutor Borislav Sarafov.
The Prosecutor's Council has already refused to deal with the case on the grounds that it is beyond their powers. Slavov demanded a disciplinary punishment and a clear answer from the personnel if and how magistrates can participate in meetings with senior officials from the Ministry of the Interior.
