We expect people who have no interest in us entering in Schengen by land, to get us into Schengen, people who have no interest in adopting the euro, to work for its adoption.
This is what he said in the program "RadioTochka" Nikolay Svinarov, Minister of Defense 2001 - 2005 and former Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Internal Security.
"Everything is a matter of interests. Both Schengen and the Eurozone will undermine the interests of a large part of the illegally enriched".
In his words, we are faced with a hypothesis in which personal interests, first of all destroying the party ranks, where these interests are defended, also destroy the interests of our country:
"We continue to live in a world where, in the absence of facts, we all draw our own conclusions. They cannot be accurate and correct. It's the same with the customs scandal. If you ask those in the know, because there is no need to ask those in the know, what they know about the case, they will generally tell you - nothing. ... We know that there are some violations, that information from investigative actions is being illegally exported in a controlled manner, we know that it is even claimed that records and protocols of interrogation of anonymous and protected witnesses are taken, which is not the same thing, but in both cases it is an equal violation of the Criminal Procedure Code".
According to Svinarov, "few politicians become cops, but many cops become politicians, so making this distinction is very difficult":
"We need to see how many lawyers in parliament have graduated from university law and how many have graduated from the school in Simeonovo. Another type of education is obtained there, apart from the education that is tied to the activities of the services. This school of the Ministry of the Interior was therefore created. It received legal capacity with the other law faculties, but this does not mean that the personnel prepared there have the freedom of thought as free lawyers - they are burdened by the system in which they studied.
Nikolai Svinarov commented that the DPS is currently in a phase where we do not know who is in charge:
"We know that they have an honorary chairman who supposedly commands everything, but no one has seen him and does not know what he says. We read some messages, but I'm suspicious and I don't know who wrote these messages.
All political formations need to be rejuvenated with ideas, tasks and goals, he believes and emphasized that without this, good results cannot be expected.
