"We saw as early as Thursday a description of a potential Iranian attack in Bloomberg, describing hundreds of drones and ballistic missiles. In fact, the analysis showed exactly what happened," the Arabist added.
"This is an act of revenge for the killings in Damascus," he was categorical.
According to him, Iran's idea is more of a warning - if you continue, we will retaliate.
"The US will not encourage a similar reaction from Israel," Prof. Chukov concluded.
