The conditions for hiking in the mountains are good today, BTA reported, referring to information from the Mountain Rescue Service ( PSS).
The weather is sunny, the wind is calm to weak.
There is still snow above 2,000 m, only in the region of Stara Planina, Mount Botev, there is moderate wind, the PSS also indicated.
Predominantly sunny weather is expected today, the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology reported. Cloudiness will temporarily increase around and in the afternoon over the mountainous and eastern regions. A light westerly wind will blow, which in the evening will be oriented from the south-southwest. Maximum temperatures will be between 25° and 30°, along the Black Sea 20°-24°, in Sofia – about 26°. Atmospheric pressure will continue to slowly decrease, but will remain higher than the average for the month.
