Relatives of those killed in accidents are organizing a protest in front of the Court House in Sofia today before the one announced for today dispositional hearing in the case of the death of 14-year-old Philip, reported BNT.
The boy was run over on a footpath in the center of Sofia on September 2 last year. The blood sample of 37-year-old Petar Todorov showed more than 2 parts per million of alcohol and exceeding the permitted speed by 50 kilometers. Todorov was detained, but in February the Sofia City Court released him under house arrest. The decision caused protests.
And today, people will gather to demand justice and legal changes. After the case, a procession will be organized to the pedestrian path on Gurko Street, where the boy was run over.
