The National Insurance Institute (NII) begins paying out the Easter supplements of BGN 100, adopted by the National Assembly, dariknews.bg reported.
Transfers will be available to the accounts of pensioners who receive their money via bank transfer. The Institute's communication with "Bulgarian Post" is also underway. EAD to form a schedule according to which the relevant pensioners will also receive their supplements before the holidays.
Parliament decided that the Easter top-up would cover pensioners with a pension amount up to the poverty line, i.e. up to BGN 526 inclusive, which means that about 534,000 people will receive supplements.
May pensions will be paid according to legislation on the standard schedule between 7 and 20 May. Payment of pensions through post offices will start on May 7 (Tuesday) and end on May 20 (Monday). The transfers of the amounts for the May pensions to the accounts of the pensioners who receive their money via bank transfer will be made on May 7, 2024.
