What I heard from Mr. Borisov is that he has a big back, which is slippery. In addition to a large back, there is also a large neck – unfortunately, Mr. Peevski has latched onto him and is suffocating him. This was stated by the co-chairman of “We continue the change – Democratic Bulgaria“ Kiril Petkov, quoted by Dariknews.bg.
Regarding the early removal of the Speaker of the National Assembly, Rosen Zhelyazkov, Kiril Petkov said: “I am really sorry, because this is another case. I am sure that Zhelyazkov would not have violated the Constitution if he had free will. Mr. Peevski was shouting at him from the front row, and Borisov was agreeing and he was breaking the rules.
Petkov stated that he was absolutely sure that Maria Gabriel would not put names in a draft cabinet that were not agreed upon. “Yes, but Mr. Peevski and Mr. Borisov told her to do it”, added Petkov.
In his words, what happened yesterday is a clear message to the decent people from GERB. “If you want GERB to have a normal government and to be part of a European one, then you must get rid of the millstone that is stuck on the slippery neck of Mr. Borisov, and that is Mr. Peevski”, was categorical the co-chairman of PP–DB.
According to him, this is the way for Bulgaria to move forward.
