We are the only coalition that belongs to ordinary, working people who receive BGN 700 per month. That's 700,000 people on minimum wage and they can't pay their electricity and heating bills, and they're being ripped off by the monopolists.
This was stated by Maya Manolova from Solidarna Bulgaria in an interview with BNR.
"These people are not only supporters of left-wing parties and right-wing voters walking the broken streets of Sofia, wondering how to pay their electricity bills. These people will receive the protection of Solidarna Bulgari in the next National Assembly," Manolova promised in the program "12+3".
And he explained that food prices are rising, but people are not coming out to protest because they have already lost faith.
She commented that in the last parliament, she did not see any of the parties there "take action, put a ceiling on food surcharges in shops".
"The Easter meal was too much for thousands of Bulgarian families. And markups in large food chains are from 50 to 80%", said Manolova.
About Cornelia Ninova Manolova comments:
"Ninova is afraid, neither I nor Vanya Grigorova can bend a spine, we do not kiss a hand and we are not dependent on the powerful of the day – large economic entities. It is clear that people with their own positions cannot be tolerated by the leader on the left. I would call such behavior fear. The potential of Solidarna Bulgaria is huge."
Manolova stated that Solidarna Bulgaria will file a complaint with the CEC because of a sociological survey that was manipulated.
A few days ago, sociologists announced a result of 2.6% for Solidarna Bulgaria in the upcoming elections, which means that they will not enter the National Assembly.
"Here is the moment to ask the author of the study how she measured the percentages of Solidarna Bulgaria, given that we announced ourselves on April 23 at 11 a.m., we were registered on April 24 at 3 p.m. This research was conducted from April 25 to 30, when the holidays began. I want them to show at least 30 addresses because they claim to have toured 1000 addresses with tablets. This is not sociology, but party propaganda," explained Manolova.
She thinks that "this is servitude to sociologists":
"They have become a tool for manipulation of the major parties and serve GERB and the parties from the Assembly. We will file a complaint with the CEC. I warn - their activity has gone beyond normal standards. The same agency claimed that Vanya Grigorova would not make it to the runoff, but she actually became the mayor of Sofia."
