Indjov: We will talk again about GERB, PP-DB, DPS and the rest, there will hardly be a new player to shuffle the cards

"We no longer have a large party - a hegemon, we have two, three - medium-sized ones that compete. We have more and more small parties and formations that will try to take advantage of their chances with a lower voter turnout", commented the analyst

The numbers of the participants in the elections have rather a political-administrative significance and are important for the bought vote, when you have to explain to a certain group of voters which number they should vote for.

This is what Associate Professor Ivo Injov said in an interview with BNR about the numbers of the parties for the elections on June 9.

"For the next four weeks we will observe "more of the same" because we have experienced it and we will be with the feeling that we are in for "more of the same" – such is the balance of power," he predicted.
And about the bought and controlled vote Assoc. Indjov said:

"The problem is that with all this interest, I guess short-termism on the numbers. People know less and less about pre-election programs and goals, and they probably change in such short intervals between elections. We no longer have a large party - a hegemon, we have two, three - medium-sized ones that compete. We have more and more small parties and formations that will try to take advantage of their chances with a lower voter turnout.

According to Assoc. Indjov, "we would observe a clash between parties of the type "Solidary Bulgaria" and "Blue Bulgaria" type, however, both formations, quite left and right-conservative, do not have much of a chance in these elections.

"Because ideologues and political programs do not matter much. We will again talk about GERB, PP-DB and DPS and the rest, there will hardly be a new player to shuffle the cards", he is convinced.
