Happy United Europe Day!
In the times in which we live more than ever, we must realize that the only way to deal with the challenges that surround us is to unite.
We must be united and look in one direction to ensure a secure future not only for us but also for our children.
This is what former interior minister Tsvetan Tsvetanov wrote on his Facebook page on the occasion of today's Europe Day. Here's more from his comment:
May 9 is a symbol of peace, solidarity, the rule of law, free expression and respect for human rights.
It is no coincidence that this day is an expression of the community's desire to guarantee security, national identity and inviolability, prosperity and well-being of its members.
Bulgaria must protect and defend its democratic place in Europe and be a worthy partner in the peaceful and civilized world.
