Yavor Bozhankov reacted to the information that his child shot another during a private party in Arbanasi. On his Facebook profile, he wrote:
For now, I only know that at a birthday party in the village of Arabansi, attended by my children with their mother, the children found a weapon that they thought was a toy. But it's not. The gun belongs to the owner of the house. It's his wife's birthday. My eldest son is in shock.
My son's aunt, who is a year older than him, is now well - injured in the toe. The worst could have happened. Thank God it isn't.
Meanwhile, it became clear that they were operating on the shot child. This was reported by "Focus", referring to the director of the Tarnovo hospital, Dr. Daniel Iliev. He specified that the gunshot wound was in the leg area.
"At the moment, there is no danger to the child's life, but we cannot guarantee that there will not be some consequences in the functions of the limb. The operation is ongoing at this moment," explained Dr. Iliev.
After that, the little boy will be placed in the Turnovo orthopedics. Whether he will need follow-up therapies remains to be seen.
