The jeep in which the young people died in Plovdiv is absolutely unrecognizable

The jeep in which two people died in the early hours of today, and two others are in danger of life, is absolutely unrecognizable, reported "Focus". The vehicle is literally cut in half.

The official information from the Ministry of Internal Affairs at the moment is as follows:

A serious road accident occurred around 3:30 a.m. today on "Ruski" Blvd. in Plovdiv, near the intersection with the "Sixth of September" Blvd., reported the Ministry of Internal Affairs Plovdiv.

Emergency teams, the police and the fire brigade have been dispatched to the scene. According to initial information, a "Range Rover" jeep, which was coming from the Central Station, entered the bike path between the two lanes and hit several plane trees one after the other.

The impact split the car in two - the front part crashed into one of the trees, and the rear part flew out onto the roadway. The 21-year-old driver and a 20-year-old female passenger next to him were pronounced dead on the spot.

A 22-year-old boy and a girl traveling in the back seat were taken to hospital with life-threatening conditions. In the meantime, emergency medical assistance is provided to a seriously injured employee of the RDPBZN - Plovdiv, who was hit by a tree branch during the rescue operation.

The scene has been preserved, an inspection is being carried out. Until its completion, traffic is stopped in both directions on "Ruski" Blvd., in the section between "Preslav" St. and "Sixth of September" Blvd. Pre-trial proceedings have been initiated in the case, the reasons and circumstances that led to the serious accident are being investigated.
