"I have always professed social conservatism, which in recent years has been expressed only by Cornelia Ninova and the policy she defends in terms of the national interest, the welfare state, the protection of the family, the protection of borders. At the same time, the social, because we have to take care of everyone." This was stated by the candidate for People's Representative from the "BSP for Bulgaria" list. at 25 MIR Sofia Kaloyan Metodiev on bTV, the press center of the BSP reports.
He explained why he accepted the BSP's invitation: "Ninova is the only one that consistently neither surrendered nor sold to the GERB model. Since entering politics, he has said: “Boyko Borisov is evil and he is Bulgaria's problem.“ Only she remained to support this policy – all others surrendered, sold, negotiated, and disappeared."
„A lot of emotions have been poured out over the last 3 years. There have been many parties of singers, of people who enter politics with slogans that they will change a certain model, but embrace it. We are already in a pretty clear situation – There are currently no newly spawned parties. On one side is the “Borisov” model, on the other side is the BSP as the antithesis of this model”, stressed Kaloyan Metodiev.
He defined the attacks between the participants in the assembly GERB, PP-DB and DPS as “family scandals”, since in his words they are one whole.
„They bring out incriminating materials against each other, pour millions for billboards and advertisements to say how the other is the biggest trash in politics, and until a month ago they changed the Constitution together and all bills were signed by Boyko Borisov, Kiril Petkov, Hristo Ivanov, gen. Atanasov and Delyan Peevski. And now they say that after the elections they have to talk again, commented the candidate for deputy from the BSP for Bulgaria.
Metodiev compared both administrations of the PP-DB, and according to him, in the first BSP, the brake was to prevent many of these “nonsense”, which have been completed since the assembly.
„Match – in 7 months: 1st place in the EU in terms of industrial production, BGN 22 billion for social policy. And in 9 months of management, the assembly achieved zero results for the state. They only apologized for the regulators, for the chief prosecutor, they clumsily changed the Constitution in order to have an official government of GERB, which conducts the elections,”, he pointed out.
According to Kaloyan Metodiev Dimitar Glavchev has failed as prime minister and is not dealing with the work he should be dealing with mainly – preparation and organization of elections.
„He only goes on excursions, wonders where to show off and drags the state from scandal to scandal. I am also looking at the children's hospital, where the scandal broke out, he is wondering what to refer DANS for or not, now he is changing positions in the UN”, he commented.
Regarding the scandal with the acting prime minister's request to change Bulgaria's position on Srebrenica, Metodiev stated: „The unofficial information is that Boyko Borisov spoke with the Serbian prime minister and made a commitment that Bulgaria would change its position . I read the statement of the Serbian President Vucic, who says that there is an agreement with Bulgaria, but it was not respected and he was surprised by the Bulgarian position. In the coming hours and days, Borisov must explain whether he spoke with Vucic. Glavchev to say who ordered him to change Bulgaria's position in the UN. If this comes out, it will be another proof that the caretaker government is under the command of GERB.“
Kaloyan Metodiev expressed doubt that the official authority will produce fair elections and in this regard appealed to the people: “On the night of the elections, everyone should see their section - there is video surveillance during the counting. So that invalid ballots cannot be cast, watch your precinct committee count. The bought and controlled vote is clearly a priority of the caretaker government of GERB, so we rely on the vote of the voters. You have one vote, but it's yours – let no one steal it.“
According to him, the tandem Vanya Grigorova and Maya Manolova have no chance in the elections.
“First, people were disgusted because of the unfulfilled promises. Second, they became a laughing stock with the theft of TikTok passwords. And thirdly – they covered Sofia with billboards. Where did so many millions come from? They have no party. Someone pours millions into their campaign and then wants to get it back in the form of votes and addictions. Nobody gives money for nothing“, pointed out Metodiev.
