To stop the liberal decay, Blue Bulgaria actively opposes political interference in the values of Bulgarians. We defend the right of Bulgarians to practice their traditions, without interference from the state and without political decisions that push our society towards value decay. A change in cultural life can only come from the citizens. The loss of values from society is aided by the political parties, which, under external pressure, try to subjugate the Bulgarian society to foreign and unacceptable values. Bulgaria's traditions should not become a bargaining chip on the political scene.
While some people even in our country argue about what is a man and what is a woman, the Bulgarian begins to lose faith that he shares the same values as his rulers. Blue Bulgaria will protect the Constitution, which clearly defines the concept of “gender” only in its biological sense, and marriage – voluntary union between a man and a woman. We will not support defining special privileges for individual communities in the law.
Bulgaria is a Christian country. Christianity saved our culture, language and identity during 500 years of slavery. Christian culture is the leading culture in Bulgaria and it is the time-proven guarantor and defender of freedom of religion, as well as tolerance and peaceful coexistence between people of different faiths, customs and traditions.
Bulgaria is an equal member of the EU and we have all the necessary tools to defend our position in Brussels. The role of “little voiceless” is just as harmful to Bulgaria's European identity as Eurasian pilgrimage. The European Union is an alliance of strong countries united by the common interest in prosperity and security.
Blue Bulgaria will fight for Bulgaria to be not only a participant in all EU processes, but a leading voice for a number of European policies. Bulgaria, as an external border of the EU, should be among the main countries that determine Europe's migration policy.
