The face of Hristo Botev made of sand appeared on the Burgas beach. The work is the work of foreigners Paul and Remy Hoggard and is on the occasion of the 148th anniversary of the death of the poet and revolutionary.
The two started sculpting the sculpture days ago, so that it will be completely ready for today, June 2. With it, they want to show their appreciation for the feat of the Bulgarian hero, specifies BNT.
Even though Paul is from Great Britain and Remy from the Netherlands, both of them have been living in Bulgaria for years and recognize our country as their home. They mark almost every Bulgarian holiday or important date by making a thematic sand sculpture that will delight passers-by along the promenade in Burgas.
