Borisov: GERB will not allow soldiers to be sent to Ukraine - 1

At the moment the world is being redistributed. The military and defense industry is leading. Countries are grouped. And we need a very strong government with very strong negotiators, GERB leader Boyko Borisov said at a pre-election meeting in Ruse, BTA reported.

In his words, GERB will not allow soldiers to be sent to Ukraine. "GERB may allow us to treat injured soldiers, take in fleeing children, help in the rearming of Ukraine, but the rest is pure speculation and playing with people's fears," said Borisov.

According to him, there must be a high voter turnout in order to have security. "I feel people's desire for change, but this time change is against "change". On Sunday, if you make a big difference, you might be looking for me. If there is not - we will tremble on the roads and there will be no bridge, there will be no birdhouse", said Borisov.

Deputy President of the European People's Party (EPP) Maria Gabriel stated that GERB-SDS and EPP are strong "because we speak with one voice in the National Assembly and in the European Parliament, because only in this way can we defend the national and the European interest".

The candidate for MEP Andrey Novakov stated that in 15 years GERB has gone from a newborn party to the party that has ruled Bulgaria for the longest time in modern history. "Our ideas come from people, not from advertising agencies worth millions," said Novakov.

At the meeting, the candidates for deputies in Rusensko, whose leader is Bedros Pehlivanian, were also presented.
