Belo pole village, Blagoevgradsko , became proverbial with the number of its voters - over 11,000. It turns out that a large part of them are actually people from North Macedonia, who have dual citizenship and usually do not come for elections, Nova TV reported.
Chairman of RIC Blagoevgrad Martin Busarov said that the regular residents of the village of Belo Pole are 680, but those registered to vote are 11,000. , he said, adding that he doesn't expect an influx of people, despite the lists.
It turns out that there are 52 sections in the country, in which the people who have the right to cast a ballot are less than 20. In the village of Dolno Yablkovo, there are only 8 people who have the right to vote, and the number of members of the section is 7.
Atanaska Tsvetkova is the deputy mayor of the village. “It has been like this for 15 years. The necessary conditions are not provided – there are no roads, no people,”, she explains about the number of voters and residents of the village. The committee on election day is made up of external members.
