The wrong election protocols in Plovdiv are over 85% - 1

Wrong protocols created difficulties for two regional election commissions and delays the reporting of the result of the vote. Although there was no opening of sacks and recounting of ballots, the delay forced the representatives of the sections to spend the night in two fair halls, one of which had a broken air conditioning system.

There are extremely many wrong protocols both in Plovdiv and throughout the country.

"Unfortunately, in Plovdiv, the wrong protocols turned out to be more than 85% of all. More or less, correction was required in a large part of the protocols - whether because of incorrect arithmetic calculations, whether because of incomplete parts of the protocols and in general because of misunderstood logic of the sectional protocol. Colleagues from RIC had to provide assistance to a huge part of colleagues from SIC, explained Kaloyan Sukhorukov – chairman of the 16 RIC - Plovdiv.

The most common mistake of the committees was that the votes with "I do not support anyone" are actually valid and mark them as invalid. The wrong sample ballots were marked in the wrong field in the protocol. In the "preferences" corrections were also required, and this is due to a misunderstanding of the very mechanism by which these preferences are distributed, Kaloyan Sukhorukov also explained.
