The weather will be dangerous today as well, reported BNT.
Warning for very hot weather remains in force in southern and eastern Bulgaria, and in the northern regions of the country and in the mountains, a code yellow has been announced for strong thunderstorms. With a moderate wind, cooler air will invade North-West Bulgaria and the maximum temperatures there will be between 29° and 32°, in Sofia – around 31° but in the rest of the country it will stay between 33° and 38°. Precipitation is also expected, accompanied by thunder and hail in some places – even after lunch in Severna, and in the evening hours – and in Southeast Bulgaria.
On the Black Sea it will be mostly sunny. After noon, cumulus clouds will develop and in places it will rain and thunder. Maximum temperatures will be between 28° and 33°. The temperature of the sea water is 22°-24°, slightly lower to the north of Kaliakra Island. The excitement of the sea will be weak.
And in the mountains after noon it will rain and thunder in some places. It will blow to a moderate, along the ridge and a strong south-westerly wind.
In the coming days, the cooling will continue, and at the latest it will cover South-Eastern Bulgaria. Rainfall, thunderstorms and hail conditions are expected on Thursday - mainly in Northern Bulgaria and the mountainous regions, and on Friday – in many places across the country. It will be sunny over the weekend, with showers still on Saturday before noon in Eastern Bulgaria.
