Prof. Kiselova: I expect early elections in November - 1

"If there are 3 unsuccessful attempts to form a government, the president should hold consultations for an official one, which will be new in terms of the procedure, the composition may be the same. Then the chairman of the National Assembly may be someone else and it is possible that he will agree to be a candidate for acting prime minister".

This is what the professor of constitutional law Assoc. Nataliya Kiselova commented in the studio of "Denyat ON AIR".

In her words, it was a mistake to restrict the president's ability to determine the composition of the government through constitutional changes.

"It seems to me that the freedom of the president should be greater, because it was seen that some people, for one reason or another, do not want to be appointed prime minister, and the one who is appointed, is related to the GERD model that has been heavily criticized. Even now, as the first party with the most votes, GERB are not winners, they lose one mandate, voter turnout is falling, they already need not one, but at least one plus partners - separatists or motivated for one reason or another. predicted Prof. Kiselova.

According to her, all politicians appear unprepared for the elections and make the same mistakes.

"What do you expect the government to do that will be supported. There must be clear priorities - what is the position of Bulgaria in the formation of the new EC, what is our position regarding the Russia-Ukraine conflict, to talk about short-term issues. No one expects a survival strategy on Mars. It doesn't have to be a coalition agreement," Assoc. Kiselova is emphatic.

She pointed out to Bulgaria ON AIR that it is not bad to be a member of a political party, but the problem is that these members are encouraged to join in order to reduce the tension and "not to raise the question of why the politicians crashed once again way to the elections".

The constitutionalist defined as the easiest decision to resign, but he defined this as running away from responsibility.

"It is very easy to say "I resign", to transfer the responsibility in this incorrect way to the voters is an escape from political responsibility. They should not ask the president when he will convene the National Assembly, he has a one-month term, we can expect the founding meeting of the National Assembly to be convened in the middle of next week. Then the terms start to run and the president must conduct consultations so that they know if they want elections or an expert government," said the constitutional law expert.

Assoc. Kiselova also said that after the elections GERB-SDS are in a more disadvantageous position, and the specter that frightens everyone on the political stage is the future political project of President Rumen Radev.

Professor Kiselova indicated the beginning of November as a possible date for new early elections.
