PP/DB can no longer be a doormat for anyone's responsibility - 1

Why Delyan Peevski is a problem for Boyko Borisov, what are the consequences from the election results for the Bulgarian parliament and what lies ahead in our political life commented on the "Network" on the program "Hristo Botev" Veselin Stoynev, journalist.

The responsibility of Boyko Borisov

"Now all the responsibility is entirely Borisov's and he can no longer transfer it to someone else. In fact, the poor result of PP/DB turned out to be bad for Borisov as well. For if they were second, they should again refuse an assembly, that he should invite them, and even transfer the mandate to them, as he did before. Now nothing can pass to them, because Peevski is second. It is absurd, because he can no longer have a second term, and the third Radev has no way of giving it to the PP/DB, because he did not even want to give it to them the previous one, when they were the second party, and now they have melted.< /p>

I.e. PP/DB can no longer serve as a doormat for anyone's responsibility. Also, the transfer of mandates is absolutely unacceptable already, and Borisov rightly says that if he does not succeed with the first mandate, we will go to elections. But the responsibility is his, and if we go to the polls, he will suffer even greater damage to his party. Borissov must know that his employer is the voters and whoever failed to win their trust is to blame, there is no one else. Neither the media nor the sociologists blame Borisov for the outflow from GERB.

Now Borisov is in the company of the DPS, but not the DPS of Jevjet Chakarov, but the DPS of Peevski, which does not please some of the GERB voters. In addition, one of the factors for the decline of trust in GERB is their negative talking, spitting, compromising, which started even before the dispersal of the assembly, although the great blame for both the assembly and its dispersal was taken by PP/DB, still led to to the disgust of voters and GERB."

Does the responsibility for government really lie only with GERB, after Hristo Ivanov said that Delyan Peevski leads the meetings of the Executive Board of GERB

"This was absolute news, but few media outlets noted it. Now the configuration is such that Borisov is functionally responsible, because there is no way for the second term to go to the DPS, there is no way to justify that the others do not want to go to him. Now Borissov has to seek broad support for his cabinet, and I don't know if he realizes that he is actually offering the same thing we had before the collapse of the assembly. Borisov said he wanted an expert cabinet, but with a prime minister and several key ministries from GERB. This is like the "Denkov" cabinet, which had both politicians and experts. Now Borisov is proposing the same, but it wouldn't be a coalition, it wasn't a coalition for me and for Denkov. Apparently he just needs other players.

A more manly move by Borisov would be if he said that he would form a minority government, headed by him and without anyone else in it, and take all the responsibility so as not to throw the country into elections.

This brings us back to the question of whether Borisov makes the decisions himself, and Hristo Ivanov's interview for the "Justice for Everyone" Initiative, in which he talks about Borisov's dependence on Peevski. So Peevski turned out to be an extremely difficult problem for the entire political system and especially for Borisov. Because it's one thing for DPS to be third, another for them to be second, because this is Peevski's DPS. Because he is an order bearer of "Magnitsky", he is the man with all his rich biography from "Bulgartabak" next to KTB and the brown media, Peevski is the person with the strongest influence in the judiciary, i.e. it is a very heavy political factor in the negative sense."

Which context is more important today – what PP/DB did not do or did wrong for the last 3 years, or who won the elections two parties – GERB and DPS, and what should we expect from them, knowing their past?

"First, PP/DB lost the election because they failed to explain the simplest political issue – why did the assembly happen, why did it fail and will there be a new one? The voters did not hear the answer to these questions. They failed to convince people that this compromise was worth it and produced any results. They gave GERB the opportunity to claim that they had no ministers except Gabriel in their government. These are their grave mistakes, that they did not agree on the bearing of responsibility in this administration, that GERB bears it as much as they do. That is why the voice of GERB prevailed, that PP/DB took over the power and are to blame for the failure."

The media and the campaign

"Borisov, on the one hand, accuses the media of being guilty of the exodus of voters from GERB, on the other hand, we see that the media is actually under a rather strong influence of Borisov. Whatever the media, the politicians make the key mistakes because both PP/DB and GERB have shrunk to their core voters."

What would have happened to PP "Velichie" if all the media, including the big televisions, had given publicity to the investigation of "Capital"? and Ioan Zapryanov for the Historical Park, which dates back at least five years, and would there be a need today for Ivo Mirchev to submit questions to DANS about "Greatness"?

"There are media outlets that were doing this, but they were in a corner. The point is that DANS has information about everything, but they do nothing, unlike the case with NEXO. I am convinced that both DANS and the prosecutor's office know, but they are acting as always – they tie their pants with some checks, they started once, and that's it."

Whose spawn is "Majesty"

"To the interests of the "deep state", to behind-the-scenes interests. It's not that someone created them, rather we're talking about political engineering here – you direct through certain technologies like YouTube channels, where people watch various messages that sound funny to us, but 100 thousand believed them. In fact, no one slept through them. It's just that their weight has increased because of the drop in voter turnout. The purpose of "Greatness" is "Revival" to appear more decent, but at the same time the target may also be a donor of MPs. It may turn out to be from a slim party, such as "Vazrazhdane", from which three deputies echoed, now it may turn out that from "Greatness" half will flow away."

Forecast

"Bulgaria must have a government, even though many people will not like it. Borisov will make such a government because, if we go to elections again, not only he will take the main responsibility for this and he will lose a lot. In addition, if Borisov does not form a government, the door is wide open for President Radev, who will appear on the field and sweep everyone away. You will wipe them out with a program to change the form of government to a presidential republic. He promised that he would have his own proposal for a Constitution. What prevents him, if we have elections in November, to say – here is my draft Constitution, in which it says "presidential republic", because parties are of no use and I will call a Grand National Assembly. This will be his program for 800 days, as the king once offered us. With this, he will wipe out all existing political parties or marginalize them to an unprecedented extent. So now we have a last chance to save something. Otherwise, we are heading towards an Orban dictatorship."
