Toshko Yordanov: We are ready for ideological concessions, but with the third mandate

In the program " ;The Staircase" of Darik, the vice-chairman of "There is such a people" and chairman of the party's parliamentary group, Toshko Yordanov, said that for the sake of forming a regular government, which the country needs at this moment, the party is ready to make ideological concessions to all political forces with which it will negotiate if it receives the third mandate, reported novini.bg.

In his words, with the appearance of "There is such a people" in politics, GERB has lost the great power it once possessed. According to him, the so-called the destruction of Boyko Borisov's party is already in history, and that is why it is time to have constructive conversations about the formation of an expert cabinet.

Unfortunately, there is no party that has the public confidence to form a cabinet. The political talk itself must be lightly dialed. The removal of GERB from our side was the removal of the total power they had. Compromises will have to be made, you can't erase them with an eraser. Boyko Borisov was emperor, it is no longer the case, it has not been the case for a long time. Since "There is such a people" remove him, he was not prime minister. The logic is such that you cannot draw a thick line. A compromise must be sought on a broader basis because the problems are dire and have nothing to do with ideologies. The state is currently not functioning because of the parliament, in which some cannot accept that ideologies are good stories for a certain time, but the reality is brutal, said Yordanov.

GERB had a chance to realize the first mandate if they had approached it expertly. However, this train has left, and the next train will be the third term, Yordanov said, hinting that "There is such a people" could have given support for a GERB cabinet, but not with their prime minister and ministers, the conditions imposed by Borisov.

He made many criticisms of "We continue the change - Democratic Bulgaria", with which he was in a coalition in Kiril Petkov's cabinet. Yordanov described the former prime minister as "a greater evil than Boyko Borisov".

Toshko Yordanov repeatedly used insults when talking about the leaders of the coalition, but nevertheless did not rule out that they would partner again: "If we get the third term from the president, we will talk with all parties, even with "We continue the change - Democratic Bulgaria". The DPS has expertise, they have very well-prepared people, but their public image is not good. We have to make ideological concessions. We tend to make ideological concessions to everyone. From "We continue the change - Democratic Bulgaria" to draw in a table which is worse - GERB, DPS, "There is such a people", "Greatness" or another. Having done so, let them begin to converse with those who are the least bad.
