Vezhdi Rashidov asked for a presidential republic - 1

Former Speaker of the National Assembly and long-time deputy of GERB Vezhdi Rashidov expects to have a regular government. In front of Darik radio, he predicted, quoted by novini.bg, that the cabinet will be formed with the third mandate - that of "There is such a people". (ITN).

Slavi Trifonov's party has already asked for the chance to form an expert cabinet.

"I don't know what is stopping Slavi. Call him and ask him. Ask Borisov what is preventing him and what is this spectacle. I do not believe. They have a wonderful relationship, and DPS is a decent Bulgarian party," he pointed out.

Rashidov assured that he knows how parties are made in our country. Designing took place in restaurants and pubs, and he sees nothing offensive in that. The ex-speaker of the parliament insists that Slavi Trifonov remember the past.

"Slavi is an old project. Let me not forget that when he was singing in the ears of some designers, I was at their table. I hope he hasn't forgotten the years, because I've been to all the tables he sang at. Slavi should not forget the beginning and remember the end. I remember when BNT kicked them out, Sasho Donchev how he sheltered them, Iliya Pavlov how he financed them. Dogan how he took it. How to this day he has sung in the ears of all the nobles. I know where he used to go before he had a party. On Sundays he watched some car races with some companies. Nothing bad. We all do it. We have circles, friends and people we enjoy being with. The bad thing is when you want to play another role."

In DPS leader Delyan Peevski, Vezhdi Rashidov singled out one specific quality that, according to him, helped Peevski a lot in business. He believes that the DPS electorate has recognized the new leader of the party, who achieved good results in the elections.

"Peevski, I "took him very hard". Then we gathered to ask ourselves if we have a war - we don't have wars. Behind this demeanor of this huge Bulgarian is a pragmatic, reasonable-thinking person, a non-stupid, organized person. Now I understand how he succeeded in business - he is a very organized, very orderly person. Can't say bad."

Many quality people work in the National Assembly, emphasized Vezhdi Rashidov. However, they have no such weight.

"There are readable people inside, decent people who do not define anything. There are leaders - they define", he pointed out.

Vezhdi Rashidov believes that the embassies actually play a role in Bulgarian politics and "pull the strings". In his words, big powers can pressure smaller countries directly with instructions - "you will do this, you will do that". Regarding Russia, the former parliament speaker said he likes the Russian people but does not approve of Putin's policies. At the same time, he does not accept that Bulgaria should get involved in the conflict between Russia and Ukraine.

"The poodle is the most snarky animal, but also the most fearful and helpless. We're a small nation - we don't need to crush everyone and be the first to lick. I don't know how it sounds to you, but this is a smear. I don't know why we should be on the lookout for something we're not involved in."

Rashidov believes that it is time to change the structure of the Bulgarian state. He called the work of parliament a "mess" that must stop. "The elections must be majority, I also think that a presidential republic should be considered - this mess must stop. I participated for many years in this parliament and I live with a sense of guilt for having participated."

For Rashidov, the amendments to the constitution were aimed at limiting the power of the head of state and humiliating him.
