The fire near the village of Borimechkovo, Lesichovo municipality has been completely brought under control, BNR reported.
There are still smoldering fires in places. Field duty teams were provided throughout the night.
The fire started from a private field in the afternoon hours yesterday and quickly entered the forest near the village.
Firefighting teams from Peshtera, Velingrad, Panagyurishte and Belovo, forest officials and dozens of volunteers took part in the extinguishing.
At this stage it is not necessary to use additional forces. An inspection of the affected areas will be carried out today.
