„We are currently in a second Columbus moment – we are discovering the possibilities of exchange between Earth and Space”, former Foreign Minister Solomon Passy told NOVA.
He is in the organization of the international festival “Hello, Cosmos”. Physicist Andrew Coates will be in Bulgaria to participate in this project and will talk about the missions he participated in that helped us learn more about the solar system. It is part of the program of “Hello, Cosmos” – now an annual event where young people meet personalities and technologies that go beyond the atmosphere. American, Italian, and Hungarian scientists also participated in the event.
The purpose of this program is to challenge the dreams, the scale of the next generation. “There is an acute deficit of imagination in Europe, the last European elections proved this,”, Passi said. He highlighted the Bulgarian achievements – the Bulgarian base of Antarctica.
According to Ekaterina Latinova - project coordinator STEAM&Space, a larger scale thinking would help everyone to fix their own kindergarten.
