Three ancient graves were discovered during the excavation of the ground under the Concrete Bridge, reported Plovdiv24.bg.< br />
As of early afternoon today, the remains of one of the bodies was still in place and covered in plastic. There is a team of archaeologists at the site who are studying the finds.
The graves were in the area of the railway lines under the bridge itself, which were dismantled before the dismantling of the facility. The discoveries do not affect the construction of the new Concrete Bridge, said engineer Nikolay Ivanov, technical manager from the company "Trace Group Hold".
