Tsvetanka Andreeva: The conflict in the DPS has been controlled

It was obvious to Borisov that he did not want his cabinet to pass, said sociologist Yuliy Pavlov

The DPS is a disciplined party, they managed to get together quickly. The conflict is contained. It's not about bloggers in tank tops fighting with them. This is a party that has been around for 30 years, a clash of different visions. Dogan has always been the balancer in Bulgarian politics, while Peevski was a more radical Euro-Atlantic oriented leader.

This is what the political scientist Tsvetanka Andreeva said on PrimeTime on the occasion of the turbulence in the movement in recent days.

And regarding new parliamentary elections in the fall, Andreeva commented, "if we fixate on a new project that will cure everything, we will get into a populist model.

"The first three refuse to make power in this parliament, I don't think there is even a theoretical model to make a cabinet in this parliament,", she added.

"It seemed to Borisov that he did not want his cabinet to be elected. He left with a ready cabinet. It was a doomed attempt, there is no logic in doing it with the second and third mandates, since the difference between the second and third is quite large", sociologist Yuliy Pavlov commented for his part.

"Obviously, Mr. Borisov had decided in advance that this mandate would not pass," he added.

And regarding the words of Lena Borislavova from the PP, Pavlov commented that the PP-DB really do not have the legitimacy to govern with a small number of people's representatives, "but this has nothing to do with the third mandate. It is given to a political force that can play the role of a mediator and unite conflicting formations, that is, it becomes a unifier".

According to Pavlov, a three-component coalition should be sought.

Dogan will not make a public move if he is not sure that it will be profitable, the sociologist believes about the role of the honorary leader of the DPS in recent days.
