"It is unacceptable that there is no condemnation of the tragedy that is unfolding in Ukraine. Yesterday there were 40 dead from a Russian attack in Kiev.
This is what DSB leader General Atanas Atanasov said on BNT.
"I am skeptical that the second term can be realized, in view of the current administration. If they split by accident, you see what happens, we have no way of knowing what will happen.
"We discussed the situation very carefully. She is very dynamic. We have experience and I think we should approach this situation very carefully. Most people do not want new elections, and we must do everything possible to prevent it from happening," Atanasov announced.
"A non-party government is possible. The Prime Minister is important for the Bulgarian people," he clarified.
"We have a serious attitude towards the state and monitor public sentiment. In this three-year-long political crisis, we took responsibility twice and created a government," he said.
"During this week, after conducting a serious dialogue with "We continue the change", we must find a common solution," explained Atanasov.
And he emphasized again: "The figure of the candidate for prime minister is very important. The third mandate is characterized by the fact that the mandate is obtained by the political force, and not by a candidate for prime minister. There is no deadline for implementation. If we get the third mandate, it makes it possible for us to have a conversation with the other political figures for the prime minister, commented Atanasov. We will go to Radev with a ready-made platform to convince him.
