TPP "Bobov dol" has a new executive director - Eng. Chavdar Stoynev, who until now worked at "Toplofikatsia Pernik". The previous executive head of the plant, Eng. Lyubomir Spasov, who is also from Pernik, will remain working in the management of the TPP.
The new executive director Chavdar Stoynev did not deny for BNR that he will take the post, but the procedures for this will continue for at least another month or two. And declined further comment.
At the same time, during the weekends, the thermal power plant "Bobov dol" it stopped working again, which has happened several times in recent months.
One reason is the renovations in the 3rd unit, which were completed and lasted 4 months, but the renovation of the 2nd unit has started.
The other reasons are that the plant stops due to unprofitably changing electricity prices on the exchange - so that the thermal power plant does not operate at a loss.
A photovoltaic power plant is nearing completion on an area of over 100 decares at the coal dump near the nearby village of Kamenik.
The plant has also purchased Italian equipment for the introduction of gas for fuel, in the future it will also switch to hydrogen.
