Glavchev: The services are acting adequately everywhere. I don't think it can be faster with so many fire outbreaks

"She, my resignation, is not a problem. It sounds cynical to me against the background of the efforts that everyone on the ground is making and quickly deal with. There is no faster than this - these are the people we have at our disposal and they act immediately. I will not engage in political attacks, I call on the politicians to leave the premises with the air conditioners and see what it is about," commented the acting prime minister

Emergency services for extinguishing fires are operating adequately everywhere in the country, including in the Yambol village of Voden. This is the assessment of the acting minister Dimitar Glavchev. According to him, with so many fires, there is no way to react faster, BNT reports.

All those injured in the fires will be granted social assistance, which they are entitled to by law, the Prime Minister assured.
Glavchev also commented on the calls for his resignation due to the damage caused by the fire.

"She, my resignation, is not a problem. It sounds cynical to me against the background of the efforts made by everyone on the ground and they quickly deal with it. It doesn't get any faster than that – these are the people we have and they act immediately. I will not engage in political attacks, I call on the politicians to get out of the premises with the air conditioners and see what it is all about.

Everywhere the services act adequately. I don't think it can get any faster with so many fire outbreaks. Probably, unfortunately, there will be more, if the weather is like this. All those involved in the suppression may be taken off their hats, otherwise I have no problems with resignations," Glavchev said.

At the moment, the possibility of inmates also participating in firefighting is being discussed.

Prime Minister Dimitar Glavchev, Interior Minister Kalin Stoyanov and Minister of Labor and Social Policy Ivaylo Ivanov visited the Plovdiv village of Otets Paisievo, where a large fire has been raging for two days.
