An hour ago, ITN's consultations with the political formations in the parliament began. The meetings today are with the independent deputies. The first were those from the "Velichie" group, close to Ivelin Mihailov. However, only Krasimira Katincharova came to the meeting, who stated that she represents the opinion of her colleagues because they are outside Sofia, BNT informs.
Katincharova asked as a question whether ITNs are ready to support a proposal of the six deputies around Mihailov for the construction of the "Belene" NPP. together with Ukraine. The future of the talks would depend on this. The chairman of the PG of ITN Toshko Yordanov replied that it was proper that only this topic should be part of the conversation, but rather that all legislative initiatives should be heard first.
About 40 minutes of arguments between the two sides followed, and despite the promise of Pavela Mitova from ITN that the topic would be discussed, the talks ended.
"We expect to encounter nothing but political hubris in this parliament, which is full of players who we understand are compromised. Even if a third-term government is elected, we do not see stability. We will not support such a government, because even what is most important to us - Bulgaria's energy self-sufficiency and independence, none of these political players bothers to look seriously", Krasimira Katincharova said. p>
"I'm glad you attended because it's good to see what kind of people there are in the National Assembly. And when you start asking questions about who you are working with or why something is not working, it will be clearer to you. As you can see, a representative of 6 people came who had no idea what else should be done in the country. No need for support specifically from this part. With the other parliamentary groups, I assume that the conversation will not be at this level, but will be more professional", commented Toshko Yordanov - chairman of the PG of "There is such a people".
The talks continue at 5:30 p.m. with the rest of the deputies of the disintegrated Greatness around Nikolay Markov. Tomorrow at 3:00 p.m. is the meeting with the representatives of the DPS around Ahmed Dogan, who will be led by Jevdet Chakarov.
