The caretaker government will hold its regular weekly meeting today, the press service of the Council of Ministers announced, dariknews.bg reported.
The government is expected to consider changes to the Program for Humanitarian Assistance to Displaced Persons from Ukraine, as well as to adopt a Program to compensate the costs of non-residential final customers for electricity for the period from July 1, 2024 to December 31, 2024. The agenda of the meeting envisages that the cabinet will discuss a draft decree on the establishment of a regional center for transfusion hematology.
The cabinet is also expected to consider a draft request for a loan to the Development Bank of the Council of Europe for partial financing of the EU Mechanism for Bulgaria in the program period 2021-2027, in the amount of 250 million euros.
The agenda also foresees a proposal to the National Assembly for the ratification of the Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Defense of Bulgaria and the Ministry of National Defense of Romania regarding the establishment of the Headquarters of the Regional Competent Special Operations Command (HQR-SOCC). A proposal to the parliament to ratify the Memorandum of Understanding between the Government of Bulgaria and the Government of Turkey regarding cross-border operations for Air Policing is also part of the agenda of the meeting. The meeting starts at 11:00 a.m.
