The victims of the explosions in warehouses with pyrotechnics in the area of Elin Pelin have been identified, the Appellate Prosecutor's Office in Sofia announced, quoted by Nova TV. The DNA expertise assigned to the pre-trial proceedings for the explosions in the warehouses with pyrotechnics is ready.
The conclusion of the experts is that the heavily charred corpses found at the scene are those of T.P., 22 years old, and S.M., 60 years old. The cause of their death was barotrauma.
The explosions also killed pyrotechnics specialist Associate Professor Petar Shishkov and his 20-year-old daughter.
The investigation continues under the leadership of the District Prosecutor's Office in the capital and is carried out by a team of the National Investigation Service. More interrogations, examinations and inspections of the accident scene are to come.
