A powerful thunderstorm hit Silistrensko this afternoon. The element was accompanied by large hail, heavy rain, and stormy wind.
The storm started with wind gusts over 80km/h, hail and torrential rain, having previously passed through the Romanian town of Culras.
The situation in the Silistra region is complicated by strong winds, which caused tree branches to fall, making it difficult to travel on the roads of the region. The amounts of precipitation in the area exceeded 30 l/sq.m
According to weather forecasts, the weather will continue to be unpredictable and dynamic in the coming hours, with the adverse weather conditions expected to last until midnight.
Citizens are urged to use caution and avoid travel in inclement weather, especially in areas with intense rainfall and strong winds.
