Politicians rebuked their statements, the so-called. “blades“ of the parties went into hiding, which is perhaps a prerequisite for easier talks after the elections. Political analyst Nidal Alghafari expressed such an opinion on bTV.
The decision of the speaker of the parliament, Raya Nazarian, to refuse to be acting prime minister, Alghafari defined as “incorrect”. According to him, her refusal was dictated by the inconvenience of being a prominent political figure from GERB.
Alghafari also strongly opposed public suggestions by some politicians that the election would be rigged.
Such suggestions and statements are incorrect for a parliamentary state, he pointed out.
The analyst also added that “most likely“ options are being discussed for the removal of Raya Nazaryan from the chairmanship of the parliament.
In turn, the journalist Veselin Stoynev also reproached Nazaryan for her reluctance to become acting prime minister, recalling that the controversial changes in the Constitution were also supported by her, i.e. even then she was aware that the Speaker of the National Assembly was among the options for acting Prime Minister, and now she refuses to be delegated such a responsibility.
On the option of BNB deputy governor Petar Chobanov also being acting prime minister, the journalist noted that it is hardly possible to find a more clearly expressed political figure than DPS, who is also from Delyan Peevski's camp.
