I voted against the election of Raya Nazaryan, so I will also support her removal. Kaloyan Metodiev, who is not a member of the parliamentary group, commented on this upon entering the parliament in response to a question about the possible submission of a similar request for the removal of Raya Nazaryan from the post of chairman of the 50th National Assembly.
"It is possible to collect 80 votes, but it will be on the edge of compromise and of lying between those who have to collect the votes. I see that everyone wants someone else to bring it in, to be the last to sign, that is, there is a transfer of responsibility," commented Metodiev.
On a question related to the promotion of Ivan Ivanov from the "BSP for Bulgaria"; for the post of chairman of the 50th National Assembly, as media publications appeared, Kaloyan Metodiev stated that Ivan Ivanov as a proposal is a mockery of the state. This would be an absurd situation - for such a figure to even come close to the position of Speaker of the Parliament, he added.
"I have seen the name of a member of "There is such a people", but it is all in the realm of speculation. You can see that the situation changes literally in hours, so today I am sure that the agreements will flow before each individual vote, there is no clarity, no stability, it will be a hot day for politics in Bulgaria", Kaloyan Metodiev also said, quoted by BTA.
At the end of last week, according to media publications, there were secret meetings between the representatives of "There is such a people", "We continue the change - Democratic Bulgaria" and DPS (Without Peevski and group). Because of the meetings in question, Ivan Chenchev from the BSP called for the convening of the National Council of the party. Yesterday, before a meeting of the parliamentary group of the PP-DB, when asked if there was a conspiracy to overthrow Raya Nazaryan from the post of chairman, Daniel Laurer said that they would not comment before meeting with colleagues from "Democratic Bulgaria".
