Traffic on the railway overpass at the Elin Pelin Station, part of road III-105 Elin Pelin – Novi Khan, is carried out in one lane due to the repair of a compromised joint of the facility at the 14th km, reported the press center of API.
The affected section is 100 meters long and emergency work is currently being carried out to secure it. The right lane in the direction of Novi han is restricted, and traffic is bidirectional in the left lane towards Elin Pelin. Traffic is regulated by traffic lights. The contractor is required to work mobilized so that the emergency activities can be completed by the end of the week and the passage of traffic through the facility is not hindered.
There is also an ongoing repair of the railway overpass and in this regard the contractor has been assigned the preparation of a technological project that will determine the necessary construction activities.
Agency “Road infrastructure“ apologizes to motorists for any inconvenience caused, but the actions taken are now necessary to ensure traffic safety. The appeal to them is to move with caution, strictly following the established traffic organization.
