Tsvetan Tsvetanov: The demonstration of the employees of the Ministry of Interior is unacceptable - 1

The demonstration of the employees of the Ministry of Interior, which is entirely in defense of Kalin Stoyanov remaining as minister, is unacceptable. This was stated to the Bulgarian National Radio by the former Minister of Interior Tsvetan Tsvetanov, leader of "Republicans for Bulgaria".

"The Law on the Ministry of Interior very clearly states what are the forms and methods of protest of the employees of the Ministry of Interior, and they are through their trade union organizations, when their rights are being defended", he explained and asked a question: "Was there a message about this protest in the Viber group, through the SDVR on duty? Is there a deputy director of the SDVR who participated in organizing this protest? These are questions that ordinary employees who do not approve of the way and form in which these protests are organized in defense of Kalin Stoyanov are asked. Answers to these questions must be given".

According to him, there is public distrust of the Ministry of Interior before the new early elections and "the Minister of Interior is not able to ensure fair elections":

In order to eliminate any doubts, a rotation of Ministry of Interior employees should be carried out on election day, Tsvetanov suggested and recalled that he had made this proposal before: "Rotation can do a very important job. This will avoid any possible organized actions and coordination between political parties and police officers".

In the program "12+3" Tsvetan Tsvetanov revealed that "Republicans for Bulgaria" are in talks with political parties about jointly participating in the upcoming early elections for the 51st National Assembly, but did not specify with which ones.
