Many things must happen in the financial sector: the implementation of Budget 2024, the preparation of Budget 2025, the accession of Bulgaria towards the Eurozone - I think that is enough. This is what the acting Minister of Finance Lyudmila Petkova told journalists in the National Assembly, who announced that she will keep her post in Gorica Grancharova-Kozhareva's office as well.
She recalled that the deadline for submitting the budget is until the end of October.
"We had a conversation about the main priorities of Bulgaria. I received the invitation - I accepted it. It is an honor for me to be part of her team," commented Petkova, adding that she cannot comment on the decisions of her colleagues.
