The tourist season is going with results , which will make it the best ever. Tourists are of two kinds – organized and self-organizing. Our traditional markets are Europe and neighboring countries. We have exotic markets like Uzbekistan, Mexico, etc. Our opportunities in terms of types of tourism are enormous. This is what the Acting Minister of Tourism Evtim Miloshev said in “Wake Up”.
He noted thatBulgarians are traveling more and more often in the country, especially after the COVID-19 crisis. He added that there are many interesting places to visit in Bulgaria in terms of nature, history, culture, food, wine, etc. Miloshev pointed out that thermal springs are also an object of attention.
The official minister also said that this year we have the most tourists from Romania. And he pointed out that the interest in Durankulak is also great. He added that he has an idea for the expansion of the "Durankulak" public utility company.
Milosev also commented on the subject of the tourist guarantee fund. According to him, it is important that such a fund be introduced, as it is necessary for both consumers and tour operators.
The official minister said that he had a meeting with Gorica Grancharova-Kozhareva, but did not specify whether she will remain in the next cabinet.
