Another serious accident in Plovdiv late last night closed the main road to the city center, BNT reported.
A car was crushed literally beyond recognition after hitting a pillar on Komatevsko shose, towards Central Station.
The exact reasons for the serious accident are yet to be clarified. Police, fire and ambulance teams are on the scene. According to eyewitnesses, the passenger who rode to the driver's seat was injured, but was conscious when the emergency medics arrived and was taken to hospital.
There is no information yet on the driver's condition. Komatevsko shose is closed in the lane of the accident until the inspection by the law enforcement authorities is completed.
