One person died and 29 were injured in road accidents in the country during the past 24 hours. This was reported by the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) on its website, BTA reported.
A total of 23 accidents with injuries and deaths.
Since the beginning of the month, there have been 722 accidents, the dead – 45, and the wounded – 958.
Since the beginning of the year, there have been 4,723 road accidents, the dead – 293, and the injured 5912. When compared with the actual data on the dead (348) in the same period of 2023, 55 fewer road users were killed in 2024, the Ministry of the Interior reports.
In the last 24 hours, there have been 23 minor accidents in Sofia.
