Grozdan Karadzov: It's all about allocating some resource and for self-regulation - 1

„It's all about allocating some resource and for self-regulation”. This was stated by the former deputy and former regional minister Grozdan Karadzhov in the program “The Live Day” on NOVA NEWS regarding the political situation in the country.

According to him, the crisis in which our country finds itself is a logical result of decades of management in a PR way. “Everything that can be cut off the ribbon, to go to a place where we can bathe in the people's love, is done. But anything that requires unpopular reforms, the implementation of some measures that will not please the people, is swept under the carpet. This is how we got to the situation where few care who registers which list. For the BSP, the competition is between the BSP of Ninova and the BSP of Zafirov. With the DPS, the competition is again between which list to register first - Dogan's DPS or Pevski's DPS, Karadjov said. He added that until recently the DPS seemed like the most stable element of the Bulgarian political system.

Plamen Kirov: The situation with the registration of the DPS to participate in the elections may repeat itself

„PP-DB want to make some kind of mutual ultimatum, again because of the lists. To make some primaries for the lists. It's all about the infamous lists, about the infamous positions of power, which, on top of everything, are lavishly paid”, Karadjov said.

Regarding the investment program of the municipalities and the problem of aridity in many places in the country, he said that when he was a minister, he allocated BGN 419 million from the department's budget for municipal projects, and there was a tendency for this amount to be increased to 1 billion BGN. “The amount for such projects cannot be found in the budget now, except through loans”, explained Karadjov.

He accused former finance minister Asen Vasilev of blowing the budget. “He single-handedly made decisions as a hidden Prime Minister and this money (for municipal projects and investments in the water supply network) is no longer there. The budget for August was barely tied with the help of the European funds. "We don't know what the next one will be tied to," added Grozdan Karadjov.
