Massed starts checks in school chairs and buffets, NOVA reported.
The Bulgarian Food Safety Agency will monitor the origin, proper storage and shelf life of foods, as well as product labeling.
The checks cover the food offered in childcare facilities and school canteens across the country. The inspections also cover the catering companies supplying food to educational institutions.
Inspections will continue until October 11. And in case of violations, the necessary actions will be taken, the agency specifies.
