Peevski: Let's unite to stop the anti-Bulgarian campaign of politicians from the RSM - 1

All Bulgarian politicians and institutions must unite in order to we cross the anti-Bulgarian campaign of politicians from the Republic of North Macedonia (RSM).

This was written by the chairman of the DPS parliamentary group, Delyan Peevski, in a position distributed by the “DPS Press Center”.

According to Peevski's position, the continuing insulting statements about Bulgaria and Bulgarians by political leaders from the RSM have once again shown that the Bulgarian side is still not taking the necessary decisive actions to stop this " a wave of humiliation and insult to the state".

„If we want to be at the level of the responsibility that the Bulgarian citizens have assigned us, all politicians and institutions must unite to protect our national honor and dignity, regardless of our political affiliations and biases,” Delyan Peevski, quoted by BTA.

In his position, he also insists on immediate and adequate actions by the Bulgarian institutions, mainly by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. “These actions must also include engaging the attention of the European institutions, since the enlargement of Europe is a strategic goal that should not be undermined by the possibility of structures penetrating the European family that do not previously accept the policies of good neighborliness, tolerance and unity and are conductors of dangerous Russian influence in the community," he also stated, quoted by the "DPS Press Center".

Earlier today, Acting Prime Minister Dimitar Glavchev said that he does not think that the tone that the Republic of North Macedonia has been using lately will help it become a member of the European Union (EU). We have made enough compromises with our national identity. The Republic of North Macedonia simply has to comply with EU requirements in order to become a member of the EU, Glavchev believes.

The President of the European Council, Charles Michel, called today on the Republic of North Macedonia to respect the obligations assumed, to implement the legally binding agreements and to continue with determination the reforms on the way to the EU, after yesterday's closed meeting with the Prime Minister of North Macedonia, Hristijan Mickoski. For his part, Prime Minister Mickoski said that the RSM can no longer accept ultimatums, and the European integration process must be based on achievements, not on bilateralization, on bilateral issues, which will be a decisive factor.
