Socialists leave the lists approved by the BSP National Council. A prominent socialist in Sliven withdraws from the list – Dr. Sabina Petkanska, who for years scored the strongest majority vote for the BSP in her city with thousands of personal preferences, is leaving the list as a candidate for People's Representative.
The lists of “BSP-United Left“ in the metropolitan 23 MIR leaves Plamen Puvkov. Another iconic face of the capital's socialists from the “Iskar” – Boris Tsvetkov withdraws as a candidate for People's Representative from 24 MIR. Tsvetkov was able to rearrange the leaves with personal preferences. The chairman of the veterans in the "Slatina"-Sofia region, Col. Stancho Stanchev, Chavdar Valchkov, a member of the All-Party Control Commission, is leaving the papers.
Yanita Dimitrova is also leaving the list of 23 MIRs, who stated even before the vote:
„ Vencislav Mirchev, due to the loss of public trust and committed serious abuses, has been "rehabilitated" from the new old leadership of the city organization of BSP-Sofia in violation of the Statute and morality. I cannot be indifferent to this lawlessness and immorality, which is why, without being obliged to inform you, consider my candidacy for a representative of the people withdrawn. My remaining in it would be equivalent to agreeing with your anti-democratic approaches and lawlessness, which have recently settled permanently in the ruling elite of the Bulgarian Socialist Party. I apologize to all the honest and honorable comrades who nominated me and I hope they will share what I wrote,'' Yanita Dimitrova announced.
Even at the announcement of the draft lists of the proclaimed broad left unification, the long-time socialist and emblematic face of the BSP in the “Mladost” Valeri Ivanchev announced: “I am refusing to participate in the elections as a candidate for the People's Representative nominated from the “Mladost” district. - the statute was grossly violated and the will of the socialists disregarded“.
At the same time, socialists with a strong majority local vote, who worked actively for the BSP and are returning, are being removed, and people with addictions are being rehabilitated, with trust removed from the party structures, the Statute is being grossly trampled on, nominations are deleted, the voice of entire party members is not respected structures, point to the leavers in their motives.
