Head of State Rumen Radev awarded the laureates of the presidential initiative Award “John Atanasov” for 2024, BNT reported.
The ceremony is held for the 22nd year in a row. Honors were awarded to deserving Bulgarian students – Olympians in informatics and information technology, promising young talents with innovative debut developments, visionaries who have developed projects with high social contribution and established educators who have trained generations of competitors and professionals in computer science.
"We can really be proud that today we are again among young Bulgarians with the will, the qualities, the ambition to build themselves, to develop in this complex and promising science, but also to contribute to the prosperity of the country" , said the President of the Republic of Bulgaria Rumen Radev.
