Kostadin Kostadinov: Entry into Schengen will turn Bulgaria into the largest refugee camp in the world - 1

The chairman of “Vazrazhdane”, Kostadin Kostadinov, made serious warnings in a video on social networks, regarding the potential risks of Bulgaria's entry into the Schengen area . According to him, the acceptance of the country into Schengen, at a time when this system is not functioning properly, hides huge dangers for Bulgaria's future.

„A news is starting to creep in that on Thursday Bulgaria may be admitted to Schengen. This causes a wave of enthusiasm in the Euro-American media and in the American parties in our country. But no one talks about the huge deadly threat that this represents for our country”, Kostadinov said. He emphasized that currently Schengen is practically not functioning, as countries such as Germany and Austria are closing their borders. "Bulgaria's entry into Schengen right now, when Schengen is falling apart from the inside, is not something we should be happy about," he added.

Kostadinov drew attention to the consequences of Bulgaria becoming the “first Schengen country”. “When an illegal immigrant enters Bulgaria, he will no longer transit, but will be registered as part of the Schengen area. Our so-called partners will return all migrants back to us because we will be the first Schengen country, warned the chairman of "Revival".

Kostadinov also emphasized the economic consequences of possible entry into Schengen. “Do you know how much it costs Germany every year to support illegal migrants? 25 billion euros! This is BGN 50 billion – almost the entire budget of our country”, he stated. According to him, Bulgaria will not be able to cope with such a financial burden. “We will have to feed, house and integrate these people, and this will be overwhelming for our economy”, Kostadinov added.

„The problem is not only economic, but also demographic. After some time, we will wake up in a country where a large part of the population will not speak the Bulgarian language, Kostadinov warned.

According to him, the demographic problem will deepen with the acceptance of large numbers of migrants who will be accommodated in abandoned areas and military units, which will change the demographic composition of Bulgaria. “This is the biggest national betrayal that the current political elite can commit”, Kostadinov stated categorically.

Kostadin Kostadinov called for a renegotiation of the conditions for Bulgaria's membership in the European Union and emphasized that the country must defend its interests and sovereignty. He announced the organization of a large procession on October 21 in Sofia and other major Bulgarian cities ("Vazrazhdane" organizes a national action "Give peace a chance!")

The future of Bulgaria is at stake. We will not allow our country to be turned into a refugee camp. I call on everyone to join the procession and protect Bulgaria," concluded Kostadinov.
